Sugar-Free Oatmeal Cookies with Yogurt: Simply Sweet & Easy to Make
Oats are among the most popular ingredients because they are chock-full of valuable nutrients, keep you full for a long time, and are loaded with digestion-aiding fiber. It’s a not a head scratcher, why many refer to oats a superfood. So, of course we had to figure out how to bring out at all the best of oats and all the yumminess of cookies.
Instead of refined sugar, we use ripe bananas and honey for these bad boys. Both lend will to adding a subtle sweetness to the recipe. Nut butter, cinnamon, and raisins also do well in cultivating a robust taste. And of course, you can’t have these cookies without adding in the rolled oats and yogurt. The latter of which helps ensure that your cookies will have that much sought after moistness.
To prepare these cookies, start by mashing the bananas with a fork. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients, minus the oats and raisins. Once combined, fold in the oats and then the raisins. Finally, simply shape the dough into classic cookie form and bake for about 25 minutes. After a brief cooling period, you’ll be able to take your first bite.

SUGAR-FREE OATMEAL COOKIES WITH YOGURT

INGREDIENTS
- 2 large bananas ripe
- ¾ cup plain or Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp nut butter of your choice
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 ½ cups rolled oats
- ½ cup raisins (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mash the bananas with a fork.
- Combine mashed bananas, yogurt, nut butter, honey, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Fold in the oats and raisins.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Form 10 balls from the dough and place them on the baking sheet. Press them flat into cookies.
- Bake the oatmeal cookies with yogurt for 20-25 minutes and let them cool briefly afterwards.
Notes:
If the dough is too sticky, put some coconut oil on your hands.
