Hot Milk Cake
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1¼ sticks salted butter
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs. Then add sugar, vanilla extract, flour, and baking powder and keep whisking until a a creamy mixture forms.
- Now heat the milk together with the butter in a saucepan until the butter is melted. Stir occasionally.
- Once thoroughly melted, remove the saucepan from the heat. Combine the milk-butter mix with the rest of the batter. Stir with a hand mixer.
- Pour the batter onto a baking sheet and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes at 350°F.
