Scottish Porridge

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ¾ cups Rolled oats
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a pot.
  • Place the pot on the stove and bring to a boil.
  • Stir constantly with a wooden spoon and simmer for 5-7 minutes, until the oats are soft and the porridge becomes creamy.
  • Serve porridge with your favorite toppings and/or stir in a piece of butter for extra creaminess.
