Bacon and Cream Cheese Spread

Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices bacon
  • ½ bunch of chives
  • ½ cup cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • salt & pepper

Instructions
 

  • Fry the bacon until crispy, alternatively, you can also cook it in the microwave using a bacon rack. Let it drain on paper towels, crush one slice of bacon and set it aside for garnish. Chop the remaining bacon finely.
  • Cut the chives into thin rings.
  • Mix the cream cheese with sour cream and lemon juice until smooth. Now fold in the bacon and chives. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour the spread into a bowl and garnish it with herbs and the bacon bits. Enjoy!
